Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) held a high-level video meeting on February 24. Taking the opportunity, Vice Commissioner of KIPO Yongsun KIM and Deputy Commissioner for Patents of the USPTO Valencia Martin Wallace appreciated the contributions made by the Collaborative Search Pilot Program (CSP) to higher examination quality and shortend examination pendency period, and agreed to run the Program on a regular basis. The deputy commissioners also agreed to start exchanging information about examination cases and guidelines that concern Artificial Intelligence and work on revitalizing exchange of experts for areas of mutual interest.
