Orientation workshops |
Two orientation workshops organized in Mongolia:
- One workshop to provide patent information training and broad guidance for general participants interested in the competition
- Another workshop that helps secondary school teachers and students understand creativity and intellectual property, and provides guidance on the competition.

Deadline for submission of entries and shortlisting |
- The shortlisted contestants were provided with legal and technical advice, including guidance on patent information resources, by IPOM, to refine their submissions and enable them to prepare their oral presentations.
- Contestants submitted their final entry by the prescribed deadline utilizing the guidance provided (which includes patent information).
- Final contestants (one contestant per team) were given 100 USD to prepare their presentations.

Final Evaluation, Award Ceremony, and Final Workshop |
- Final one-day workshop, held back-to-back, along with the oral presentations session organized with a focus on developing appropriate technologies and their commercialization.
- Participants had the opportunity to increase their understanding of measures required to introduce promising and useful inventions to the market.
